The Board of Commissioners will hold a planning retreat on January 19 and 20, 2023 at the Mill on Etowah in the Events Central Conference Room, 225 Reformation Pkwy, Canton. Agendas for the retreat will be published on the County's website and indicate sessions open to the public.

Consider request for rezoning 8.94 +/- acres at 1519 Old Hwy 92 from AG to GC.
The Planning Commission voted to recommend approval with one condition.
Consider request to rezone 20.77 +/- acres from GC and R-40 to RM-16 with concurrent variances at 5236 Hopgood Road, 5206 Hopgood Road and 2134 Cascade Drive.
Planning Commission voted to recommend approval of the applicant’s request for rezoning along with approval of concurrent variances with one condition.
Consider request for rezoning of 30.71 +/- acres from AG to R-80 at 2714 Sugar Pike Road.
The Planning Commission voted to recommend denial of the applicant’s request.

Consider approving changing current part time Case Manager position to a full time Case Manager position for a maximum net increase of $44,902.00 to be funded by federal and state grant funds and DATE fund monies.

Consider approval to purchase of two 2023 Ford Police Interceptor Utility vehicles for the Marshal's Office at $39,294.00 each from Wade Ford, for a total amount of $78,588.00.
Consider approval of a Resolution Establishing a Growth Boundary Agreement with the City of Holly Springs.
Consider approval of a Memorandum of Understanding with the City of Holly Springs establishing Coordination and Coordination Protocols for a Growth Boundary.
Consider award of a Professional Services Agreement for the Ball Ground Highway Roundabout Project to the highest scoring proposal - Southeastern Engineering, Inc., in the amount of $115,000.00.
Consider award of a Standard Professional Services Agreement to Arcadis US, Inc., the highest scoring proposal, for the design of the I-575 at Towne Lake Parkway Interchange Improvements Project in the amount of $1,358,841.26.
Consider approving the agreements to lease four (4) Nissan Altimas from Enterprise for 5 years for the District Attorney's Office, at a total not-to-exceed amount of $170,398.00.

Consider approval of an invoice from Amicalola EMC in the amount of $381,618.95 for the relocation of facilities in conflict with the Technology Ridge Parkway - Phase 1 project.
Consider approval to ratify the purchase of 165 Poll Pad check-in stations for Elections & Voter Registration from KNOWiNK, LLC., in the amount of $645.00 each, for a total cost of $106,425.00.
Consider approving Standard Professional Services agreement with Meer Electric for maintenance and repairs to EMA's outdoor warning sirens for a three-year term.
Consider agreement with Shiloh Baptist Church of Jasper, Inc., to allow the church to remove and take ownership of the modular building located at the old Public Works Facility and no longer in use by the County.
